Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nepali Teacher to join our Primary Level section. This is a full-time position for a graduate with at least 2 years of teaching experience. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of the Nepali language and literature, along with the ability to inspire young learners to develop their reading, writing, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging Nepali language lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills in Nepali.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation.
Use creative teaching strategies such as storytelling, poems, group activities, and language games to enhance learning.
Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and teaching materials to support effective learning.
Assess and monitor students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
Encourage students to appreciate Nepali literature, culture, and language.
Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a supportive learning atmosphere.
Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues regarding students’ progress and development.
Participate actively in school events, meetings, and extracurricular activities as required.

Other Specification

Master’s degree in Nepali, Education, or a related field.
At least 2 years of teaching experience at the Primary Level.
Strong command of Nepali language, grammar, and literature.

Passion for teaching and motivating young learners.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and educational technologies.

Founded by Late Mr. Satya Narayan Bahadur Shrestha in 2022 BS, with 50 boarders and 7 day scholars in Bhairab Bhawan, Lalitpur, AVM was shifted to Manbhawan in 2032 BS. Mr. Shrestha was also the founder of Tribhuvan Adarsha Vidyalaya, Pharping and Mahendra Adarsha Vidyashram, Satdobato. He was the only founder principal of a school nominated by His Majesty Late King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev in the National Education Committee. The strength of students has now reached to the tune of 2000 consistently for decades.
