Job Description

  • Oversee work of front desk personnel such as guest relation officers to ensure that they receive and greet guests properly
  • Assist during the check-in and checkout processes to ensure that all associated activities are handled flawlessly
  • Create and implement staff schedules
  • Make reservations for guests over the telephone
  • Assist with cashiering functions by providing insight and support in handling bookkeeping activities
  • Assist guests with special requests such as booking extensions and supervise front desk officers to ensure prompt fulfillment of special requests
  • Assigns team members their duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards
  • Investigates complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment, and takes corrective action
  • Obtains list of rooms to be cleaned immediately and list of prospective check-outs or discharges to prepare work assignments.
  • Oversee and Assist in F&B department
  • Coordinates work activities among all departments
  • Conducts orientation training and in-service training to explain policies, work procedures, and to demonstrate use and maintenance of equipment
  • Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies
  • Evaluates records to forecast department personnel requirements.
  • Establishes standards and procedures for work of housekeeping staff
