Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a responsible, organized, and customer-focused Store Assistant to manage day-to-day store operations, including customer service, billing, stock management, documentation, and collections. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of alcoholic beverages, basic inventory management skills, and good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle customers professionally and provide product information when required.
Maintain good knowledge of alcoholic beverages, brands, and products.
Manage billing and operate the POS system accurately.
Maintain proper store records, files, invoices, and documentation.
Manage and maintain accurate stock records and inventory.
Conduct weekly physical stock counts and report discrepancies.
Ensure the store is clean, organized, and properly maintained.
Follow up on outstanding customer payments and collections.
Coordinate with management regarding sales, stock, customer requirements, and store operations.
Maintain store-related reports and data using Microsoft Excel.
Be responsive and available for store-related requirements from senior management.
Assist with deliveries and other operational tasks when required.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com.) or a related field.
1–3 years of relevant experience in retail, FMCG, beverages, hospitality, or a similar industry.
Good knowledge of alcoholic beverages and international brands is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications.
Experience with POS/billing systems is an advantage.
Strong communication, organizational, and customer-service skills.
Honest, reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage stock responsibly.
Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with the management team.
