Your Role:

We are looking for a capable and people-focused professional who can manage riders effectively and ensure smooth fleet operations. The Sr. Officer/Assistant Manager – Fleet will oversee daily operations, lead the fleet team, handle rider hiring and onboarding, monitor performance, maintain SOPs, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve service quality. Strong leadership, communication, and operational management skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mobilize and motivate the entire fleet management team.
Monitor and improve team productivity, discipline and morale.
Conduct regular team briefings and provide coaching for continuous improvement
Oversee daily attendance, roster planning, and shift allocations.
Oversee and drive rider hiring by coordinating closely with the recruitment team ensuring timely sourcing, screening, onboarding, and deployment of riders across all operational areas.
Monitor rider’s performance through KPIs (timeliness, delivery accuracy, complaints, etc.) and initiate corrective actions as needed.
Actively work on retention and engagement of riders and team members through consistent communication and motivation.
Proactively work on creating and executing plans for rider’s safety-related matters coordinating with ESG team.
Create and maintain required SOPs for the fleet management team and delivery riders.
Ensure all operational SOPs and company policies are followed by the riders and team.
Coordinate with Customer Service, Quality Assurance, Vendor Operations, IT and HR to promptly resolve rider-related concerns (behavioral, performance, or technical).
Coordinate and facilitate out of valley operations team on onboarding process and other required support for rider management.
Ensure timely reporting and resolution of issues impacting service quality.
Prepare and submit periodic reports on fleet performance, issue resolution, and team efficiency.
Maintain updated records of riders, tasks assigned, issue logs, and resolutions.
Provide data-driven insights and suggestions to the HOD for operational improvements
Other tasks as required in the department.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 2 years of experience in fleet management, operations, logistics, or a related function.
Experience in rider management or field-force management is an added advantage.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Strong multitasking, coordination, and decision-making capabilities.
Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and ownership.
