Roles and responsibilities of this job

The primary objective of the Resort Operations Executive is to systematically, transparently, and efficiently manage all daily administrative, front desk, guest service, accounting, and retail sales operations of the resort. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality guest service while strengthening the organization’s financial and management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Booking & Front Desk Management:

Receive bookings via phone, online platforms, or walk-in guests.
Update booking details in the record book or software system.
Welcome guests upon arrival and show them their rooms.
Hand over room keys and collect them at checkout.
Coordinate and address guest complaints and special requests.

B. Restaurant & Order Management:

Ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations.

C. Financial & Accounts Handling:

Maintain records of:

Room charges
Food expenses
Packages (food + accommodation)
Additional services

Maintain daily income records (Cash/Online payments).
Maintain daily income records (Cash/Online payments).
Collect payments and immediately hand them over to the manager.
Prepare daily cash reports.
Maintain separate records for mini-store/retail sales.

D. Housekeeping Supervision:

Assign room cleaning duties and monitor quality standards.
Inspect rooms after checkout.
Ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant, kitchen, and public areas.
Check the stock of necessary cleaning supplies.

E. Store & Inventory Management:

Sell grocery items, bottled water, cold drinks, cigarettes, biscuits, snacks, and other small retail goods.
Maintain daily records of sales and remaining stock.
Inform the manager when stock levels are low.
Conduct regular stock reconciliation.

F. Reporting & Coordination:

Prepare daily income and expense reports and submit them to the manager.
Immediately report any special incidents, complaints, or damages.
Maintain coordination among staff members.
Ensure compliance with the organization’s policies, rules, and service standards.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Higher Secondary (+2/A Levels/IB)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Minimum +2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent (Hotel Management or Management background preferred)
1–2 years of experience in hotel, resort, or restaurant operations (preferred)
Basic computer and accounting knowledge
Polite and professional demeanor
Honest, responsible, and punctual
