Roles and responsibilities of this job

Reports to: Head- Accounts & Finance or Managing Director

We are seeking Senior Accountants who will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting and financial operations across multiple business units/products, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and effective financial controls. The role will also involve supervising the Accounts/Finance team, supporting management with financial analysis and insights, and coordinating with clients, stakeholders, banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions of multiple products within the stipulated time.
Prepare financial statements, reports, payroll (PF/SSF/Gratuity/Tax) and TADA calculation of all employees on a monthly basis.
Handle accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations and be the first point of contact while dealing with clients, stakeholders and bank for finance/account related purpose.
Assist with tax, audit, and statutory compliance.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for several products.
Support management with financial information and analysis.
Overlook and manage the Account/Finance department by handling all the responsibilities.
Train the junior team members and support them in any account/finance related issues.
Any ad hoc duties as per requirement.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 6 years

Other Specification

6-10 years of relevant experience in Accounting/Finance in a Trading related Company.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Master's in relevant degrees preferred.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, payroll as per labor law, return VAT, LC, TADA calculations, latest version of Excel with advance formulas, etc.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
Good analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with ability to deal directly with clients, stakeholders, and bank for accounting/financial purpose.
Ability to handle multiple accounting responsibilities for multiple trading products independently and meet deadlines.
Ability to work under pressure with minimal to no supervision.

Requirement: Two positions, one for each of our separate products/entities.

Salary: Negotiable depending on qualifications and experience

Work Time: 10 AM-6 PM, Sun-Fri
