Project: Sponsorship Project (Component of CESP)

Project Working Areas: former Narayanpur, Dhansingpur, Lalbhoji, Bhajani,  Pahalmanpur, Sandepani, Darakh, Khailad and Udasipur VDC of Kailali district

The position will oversee the tasks related to sponsorship relating to WVIN partnership projects and will lead the sponsorship team in WACT

Sponsorship Filed Mobilizers will be responsible to manage, monitor, report and implement activities related to child sponsorship relating to WVIN partnership/implemented projects in Kailali district

Term & Location: Fixed term and Field based position with frequent travel to project office in Tikapur

Academic Qualification and Experience

• Higher Secondary degree (+ 2) in any relevant field with more than 1 years’ experience in Development Sector  
  

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Competency

• Understanding of poverty issues, development theories and sustainable development practices 
  
• Strong understanding of community dynamics with skills to communicate and build rapport with children and community
  
• Strong coordination skills with local level stakeholders (Parents, school management committee, child clubs, health institutions, rural municipality, cooperatives and various community groups)
  
• Good translation skills both English to Nepali and vice versa
  
• Computer and Technology literacy; Good computer skills including Word and Excel
  
• Latest technology friendly (Use of Smartphones, digital cameras, tablets)
