Job Description

This position will be lead of this component of the project. The primary responsibility for documentation/monitoring/tracking the project implementation, assess the quality of results, draw learning from the project and providing technical coordination of project implementation team. S/he will be responsible for ensuring qualitative and process-oriented gender-sensitive indicators of inputs, out puts and outcomes. The M&E/Documentation officer will also support project team providing necessary formats and forms along with quality documentation of the results. 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, plan and implement project events and ensure proper documentation of the programs and events organized
  • Communication and coordination with staff, stakeholders, Palikas, Provinces and other government agencies as per the requirement of Project.
  • Data base development and documentation of project activities and collecting supportive documents 
  • Support other project staff to implement project effectively at different levels.
  • Ensure quality monitoring of activities implemented and developed timely monitoring report
  • Coordinate with partners, members and networks for enhancing the partnership and collaboration to achieve Project
  • Document lesson learnt best practices and success stories of the Project.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, semi -annual and annual project report as per the requirement of the project.
  • Based at Kathmandu with frequents visit to Provinces and different Palikas. 

Qualification, Skills and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Mass communication and Journalism, Development Studies, Gender & Development, Management, Statistics or any relevant field with minimum 2 years of experience or Master’s Degree in any relevant field of education based projects. 
  • Profound technical skills in writing, data analysis and knowledge on excel and other tools
  • Sound knowledge on rights to education, child rights and issues of GESI
  • Good skills on networking, coordination, communication, management, advocacy and campaigning.
  • Good interpersonal skills to deal with the colleagues in the organization and capability and willingness to work under the pressures and multiple deadlines
  • Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation, research and documentation.
  • Excellent command on English language is essential 

Age Limit: Candidates between 21 years to 45 years are only eligible to apply for the above position, depending upon the nature of job they will carry.

Languages: Strong command of Nepali, English (oral and written) and local language preferred. 

Duration: The position is for 24 months. 

Note: Female candidates are highly preferred.
