Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for a results-driven Social Media Lead to own and scale SamOira’s digital presence through high-performing content and paid advertising. This role combines creative execution with data-driven marketing, requiring someone who can both produce engaging content and optimize campaigns for measurable growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Strategy & Execution

Plan and maintain a monthly content calendar aligned with brand goals and campaigns
Film and edit original content for SamOira across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
Ensure content aligns with brand voice, aesthetics, and audience preferences
Apply a deep understanding of branding and communication to all digital output

2. Paid Advertising (Meta – Facebook & Instagram)

Plan, build, and manage Meta ad campaigns to drive sales and brand awareness
Develop and test multiple creative formats (video, carousel, static)
Optimise campaigns weekly based on ROAS (Return on Ad Spend), CTR (Click-Through Rate), Cost per purchase
Build and manage retargeting audiences (Website visitors, Cart abandoners, Past customers)
Scale winning campaigns and manage budgets effectively to ensure maximum efficiency

3. Reporting & Analysis

Track and report weekly on Ad spend, Revenue generated, ROAS, CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost), Conversion rates
Maintain a live performance dashboard
Share weekly insights and performance updates with the senior leadership

4. Content & Creative Coordination

Brief the content team on creative formats, messaging, calls to action
Write high-converting, direct-response ad copy in both English and Nepali
Ensure all creatives are on-brand and performance-focused

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Experience: 1-3 years managing Meta Ads for e-commerce for D2C brands. Prior experience in content, media, communications, or branding is highly preferred
Technical Expertise: Deep proficiency in Meta Ads Manager and mobile-first video editing
Language: Strong writing and editing skills in both English and Nepali
Analytical Mindset: Ability to track ROAS / CAC and think strategically about data.

Soft Skill:

Strong organizational and coordination skills
Ability to take initiative and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
