Reporting Line:

Reports to: Executive Team
Leads/Manages: Operations Team (Admin, Shredding, and Logistics)

Role Overview:

The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing overall site operations, ensuring operational excellence and smooth coordination between ground operations, logistics, administration, and client servicing. This role combines operational leadership with process improvement and growth-focused execution to ensure efficiency, productivity, customer satisfaction, and high operational standards across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership and Site Management:

Oversee the overall day-to-day operations of the site and ensure smooth coordination between ground staff, logistics, fleet operations, administration, and client servicing.
Supervise, guide and manage the performance of operational and ground teams to ensure efficient execution of daily activities.
Coordinate with departments such as Operations, Clientele, Accounts, and E-waste to ensure smooth interdepartmental workflow and prompt issue resolution.
Monitor operational performance, review reports, and ensure targets and operational standards are met.
Act as the key coordination point between site operations and management.

Administrative & Reporting Responsibilities:

Oversee operational records including inward/outward records, delivery notes, purchase receipts, inventory records etc.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.

Shredding and Site Operations:

Coordinate on-site and off-site shredding operations, including resource planning and maintaining operational records.
Ensure proper documentation and completion of shredding-related activities and client deliverables.

Business Development and Growth:

Work with the executive team to set department-specific strategies and KPIs supporting organizational growth.
Routinely network within the industry to identify new prospects and opportunities in scrap management and waste management solutions.
Build strong relationships with scrap traders, factories, corporate clients, and government institutes.

Process Improvement, Compliance & Continuous Improvement:

Identify operational challenges and implement process improvements for better efficiency and productivity.
Ensure a safe, clean, and organized working environment.
Monitor compliance with operational procedures, company policies, and workplace safety standards.
Provide regular updates and recommendations on operational performance and key improvement areas.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across teams.

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:Equal to 5 years

Master’s degree in Business, Management, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, site management, or a similar role
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate ground and operational teams
Good understanding of site operations, logistics coordination, and inventory management
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective team and client coordination
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle operational challenges under pressure
Proficiency in MS Excel and basic reporting tools for operational tracking and reporting
Prior experience in waste management, recycling, logistics, or similar operational industries will be an added advantage
