Job Description

  • Responsible for customer service in retail outlets of all kinds
  • Dealing with customers and selling goods to handling payments and making sure that the goods are attractively displayed
  • Advice and answer questions, not just about the store's products and prices but also issues like stock availability or any special promotions that may be running
  • Use strong consultative sales skills, negotiation and interpersonal skills (both oral and written), attention to detail, strong follow-up skills and motivation to make the sale
  • Track customer returns
  • Maintain accurate and organized customer files
  • Schedule deliveries
  • Read blueprints to ensure compatibility between product ordered and customer desire and needs
  • Assist in scheduled physical inventory counts
  • Coordinate the ordering, receiving and delivery of products in a timely manner
  • Use appropriate office technologies and computers to process and track orders and maintain excellent communication with all contacts
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
