Job Description

  • Keep records of incoming internal and external customer inquiries for the service department – both in terms of phone calls and walk in customers and address their queries in timely manner
  • Review and adjust duty schedule of all service engineers and the technicians as needed
  • Schedule work orders as directed, update technician comments and prepare the work orders for closing. May close work orders as directed by the Service Manager
  • Monitor all service  orders and communicate with the service manager and technician/ engineer to ensure that all jobs are completed in timely manner
  • Assists the senior service manager and assistant service manager in staying on top of work orders in process to ensure that they are closed in a timely fashion
  • Process service department warranty claims and submit claims to the manufacturer and follows up to ensure payment is received
  • Prepare Annual maintenance contract for new customers and make calls to renew it for existing customers whose AMC is expired
  • Maintain service department filing and records as needed
  • Other duties or projects as assigned by Senior Service Manager
