Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos, ensuring high-quality and seamless transitions.
Implement creative storytelling techniques to captivate and engage the audience.
Collaborate with the team to understand project requirements and deliver videos that align with the vision and objectives.
Utilize advanced video editing software and tools to enhance visual effects, sound, and overall video quality.
Trim and rearrange footage to ensure the logical sequencing and flow of the video.
Add appropriate music, sound effects, and voice-overs to enhance the video's impact.
Conduct thorough quality checks on edited videos, making necessary adjustments and revisions.
Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, techniques, and software advancements to improve video production quality continuously.
Mentor and guide junior video editors, providing feedback and support to help them develop their skills.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of projects.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 3 years

Other Specification

3-4 years of experience in non-linear editing.
Bachelor's degree in film production, media studies, or a related field is preferred.
Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and After Effects.
Excellent knowledge of video editing techniques, including color correction, visual effects, and motion graphics.
Solid understanding of various video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.
Must be experienced in editing multi-cam projects.
Experience with 2D/3D animation and motion graphics is a plus.
Someone who knows the internet trends too.
