Senior System Analyst-Software Development is a mid-level role and is expected to analyze, design, develop and implement software solutions for the business/ process requirements. He/ She handles business & system requirements gathering, system design, development, testing and implementations of new systems.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Executes full software development lifecycle. Responsible to prepare system requirements, analyze, design, develop, test and implement software applications, based on business and/or process requirements.
• Prepares and maintains necessary functional and technical documentations including BRS/ SRS, Process/ Data Flow, User Manuals, Change documents of the solutions.
• Supervises team members / developers to ensure development and software quality of the in-house developed systems. Develops software verification plans and ensures quality assurance.
• Interacts with other vendors/ consultants and/or end users to ensure functional requirements
• Maintains and owns development & test environments. Ensures configuration/ change management of the software.
• Supports in deployment, installation and configuration of the systems/ software.
• Provides training to the business, operations and other users.
• Confirms to organizational policies and procedures. 

Job Specification:

• At least University degree in engineering/ science, IT/IS, computer applications or related field.
• At least 5 year of experience in system/ technology design, development, implementation, and/or operation. Experience in payment systems/interfaces will be an advantage.
• Ability to develop software in C, C++, C#, Java or other selected languages.
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate) in Windows and Unix/ Linux based platforms.
• Sound knowledge of Web Services, XML, Message Queue, FTP, financial messaging like 8583, 20022, etc.
• Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC)
• Ability to learn, understand and apply new technologies.
• Experienced at working independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environment is crucial with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
