Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Senior Sales and Marketing Officer is responsible for promoting revenue growth, expanding the company’s market presence, and enhancing brand visibility through well-planned sales activities and focused marketing initiatives. This role involves actively managing sales operations, maintaining strong client relationships, and supporting the execution of marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients through networking, referrals, and outreach.
Identify and contact potential customers to present company products and services, and drive sales opportunities.
Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities through outbound and inbound channels.
Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including lead generation, client meetings, proposal preparation, negotiation, and deal closure.
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure retention, upselling, and cross-selling.
Prepare and present customized solutions aligned with client needs and company offerings.
Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Maintain accurate sales data, pipeline updates, and reports in alphaocto.com
Conduct basic market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential growth areas.
Represent the company at client meetings, events, exhibitions, and networking forums when required.
Provide regular feedback to management on market insights, customer expectations, and service gaps.
Follow defined sales SOPs, reporting structures, and compliance guidelines.
Share best practices, sales techniques, and market knowledge with the team.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, IT, or related field
Minimum 2+ years of experience in sales (IT/software or business services preferred)
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong ability to build and manage corporate client relationships
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to understand technical products and translate them into business value
Strong time management and multitasking skills
Ability to make operational sales decisions within approved frameworks
Willingness to work in office and attend client visits as required
Ability to work extended hours during campaigns or deal closures

Note: Two-wheeler and a valid driving license is mandatory
