Other Specification

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Agricultural Engineering or Structural Engineering or relevant field from a recognized institution. Master’s in relevant field will be highly prioritized.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project engineering, preferably in multi-sectoral projects (e.g., hydropower, agriculture, infrastructure).
Proven experience in project management, technical supervision, and business development.
Strong knowledge of engineering software/tools and project costing methodologies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and client handling skills.

Job Description

The Senior Project Engineer – Mechanical/Agri-Engineer/Structural Engineer will play a key role in identifying, evaluating, and executing engineering projects across diverse sectors, including agricultural engineering, industrial development, agriculture field infrastructure, livestock structures, constructions, etc. This position requires strong technical expertise, project management capabilities, and a business development mindset to contribute to the company’s strategic growth in engineering-led sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and assess new projects and business opportunities in sectors such as agri-mechanization, irrigation systems, farm structure, livestock structure, infrastructure etc.
Prepare technical proposals, concept notes, and feasibility studies for potential projects.
Liaise with clients, government agencies, development partners, and other stakeholders to explore collaborative opportunities.
Lead the planning, design, budgeting, and execution of engineering projects.
Prepare and review technical drawings, BOQs, specifications, and work schedules.
Oversee procurement, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of project components.
Supervise on-site activities, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, safety protocols, and quality benchmarks.
Guide junior engineers and field teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Provide technical support and training as needed.
Work closely with departments related to agriculture, renewable energy, infrastructure, and commercial development.
Maintain a holistic understanding of the interlinkages between engineering solutions and agricultural/industrial impact.
Maintain accurate project records, progress reports, and technical documentation.
Report regularly to management on project status, risks, and outcomes.
