Main Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement and monitor the WASH Activities with focus on Behaviour Change Approach
• Design and implement Training Program for different stakeholders
• Take lead on Knowledge Management of the WASH project and assist to do Evidence Based Advocacy
• Participate in the coordination, representation and partnerships of Action Against Hunger  in relevant sectors and
• Participate in the administrative procedures associated with the programme

Qualification and Skills:

• Master’s degree in Public Health, Social science, development studies or relevant discipline with at least two years of field experience in WASH sector in training, advocacy, coordination, Behaviour Change Communication and knowledge management in international development organizations. preferably in International NGO or UN agency – or - Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline with at least four years of experience. An additional Engineering background will be an added value
• Good understanding of cross cutting issues in WASH sector (WASH in Nutrition, Menstrual Hygiene Management and WASH governance) 
• Ability to analyse a situation, synthesize information and use the outputs to improve implementation and good coordination
• Ability to work in diverse environment
• Innovative, problem solver and result oriented
• Excellent interpersonal, networking and negotiation skills
• Good standard of written and spoken Nepali and English language
• Good Computer skills (Microsoft package) including analysis and reporting skill 
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Willing to travel as required
