We are seeking an experienced PHP Developer who is well-versed in PHP frameworks such as CodeIgniter and Laravel, along with a solid understanding of custom framework development. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our web applications to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable, and efficient solutions that drive our business forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development: Design, code, and test dynamic web applications using PHP, leveraging CodeIgniter, Laravel, and other custom or in-house frameworks.
• System Maintenance: Provide ongoing support, bug fixes, and performance optimizations to existing applications ensuring high uptime and responsiveness.
• Database Management: Develop and maintain database schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity while using MySQL or other relational databases. 
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with front-end developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to integrate user-facing elements and back-end services seamlessly. 
• Code Quality & Documentation: Follow industry best practices by writing clean, well-documented, and maintainable code. Perform code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Customization & Integration: Develop custom frameworks and modules as needed to integrate with third-party APIs and systems.
• Security & Performance Optimization: Ensure adherence to security standards and develop measures to protect the integrity and confidentiality of data. 

Qualifications Technical Skills:

• PHP Proficiency: Extensive experience with PHP programming, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles. 
• Framework Expertise: Demonstrated expertise with CodeIgniter and Laravel. Proven experience in building or maintaining custom frameworks is highly desirable. 
• Front-end Integration: Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and associated libraries to facilitate smooth integration between front-end and back-end functionalities.
• Database Systems: Proficiency in using MySQL or comparable relational databases, including the ability to design and optimize complex queries. 
• Version Control Systems: Experience with Git or other version control systems to manage source code effectively. 
• API Integration: Familiarity with RESTful services and API integration for building interconnected applications.

Professional Experience:

• Years of Experience:
• Typically 3+ years of hands-on experience in PHP development, including practical work with CodeIgniter and Laravel.

Project Portfolio:

• A portfolio or examples of previous work, showcasing the ability to implement complex solutions and use custom frameworks.

Education & Certifications:

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may also be considered.

Certifications (Optional): Any recognized certifications in PHP development or relevant technologies can be an asset.
