Job Description

We are looking for an outstanding Senior Full Stack Developer to join the PMsquare consulting team!

What we are looking for in a candidate:

Programming Knowledge and Experience (REQUIRED)

Strong proficiency with JavaScript language features in both server-side and client-side applications
Absolute understanding of promises, async/await, and error handling asynchronous JavaScript
Basic understanding of front-end design including HTML5 and CSS3
Experience with a modern UI framework such as Angular, AngularJS, or React
Experience with implementing and consuming SOAP and REST web APIs
Ability to contribute to architectural decisions
Ability to identify technical debt, assess solutions, and plan a course toward resolution
Experience producing and maintaining automated testing, build, and deployment processes
Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback to and from other developers on the team
Clear understanding of authentication and authorization of users by employing industry best practices
Deliberate attention to ensure new code and coding practices do not endanger the security or stability of our systems

Database Knowledge and Experience (REQUIRED)

Understanding relational data and how it is implemented in an RDMS (particularly MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle)
Ability to modify and query a relational database using SQL
Understanding of the document data model and how it is implemented (particularly MongoDB)
Experience with MongoDB CRUD operations as well as aggregation pipelines
Ability to diagnose and address performance related issues with queries and CRUD operations

Additional Relevant Experience and Skills (DESIRED)

Experience with some form of analytics/reporting tool (Cognos, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
Experience with AWS including EC2, CloudWatch, RDS, and Developer Tools
Prior experience as tier 1 or 2 support
Experience working within an Agile development process
