  • Good leadership and supervision skill
  • Should be skilled on Cash management (e.g. bank account reconciliations, management of funds transfers to and from accounts), Financial reporting (e.g. monthly management reports), Budget maintenance (e.g. tracking actual), Accounts administration (e.g. monitoring of payments, periodical reconciliations)
  • Should have good knowledge of Accounting software (FACT ERP preferable)
  • Should have general knowledge of VAT and TAX system as per policies of Govt. of Nepal
  • Should have knowledge of MS office package
  • Knowledge of Trading/Construction Industry is added advantage
  • Ability to work under pressure situation

Job Description

  • Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting, and accounting control procedures
  • Handle multiple projects and fund management in co-ordination with the CFO
  • Preparation of chart of accounts, checking, verification & approval of accounting transaction
  • Handle full spectrum of financial and cost accounting role e.g. account receivable, account payable, general ledger, forecasting, budgeting
  • In coordination with top management, release the fund to related project/site office
  • Preparation of trial balance, Profit and loss account and balance sheet cost center wise
  • Perform cash flow forecasting, budgeting and working closely with the operation and project teams in analyzing margins, variances and cost analysis
  • Review & approve payment vouchers and journal entries
  • Analyze financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolution
  • Monitor expenditure, analyze revenues and determine budget variances and report the same to management
  • Monitor and record financial transaction according to company policies and regulations
  • Review and recommend changes to existing accounting procedure
  • Perform full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts
  • Perform projects cost forecast/budget, cost tracking monitoring and controls
  • Provide guidance to other accountants when needed
  • Other duties as assigned by the directors
