  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the management of financial systems, reporting, data analysis, auditing and taxation
  • Proper knowledge of accepted accounting practices and related computer applications
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations

Job Description

  • Prepare and direct the preparation of audits, financial statements and varied fiscal reports
  • Plan, organize, assign, review, and evaluate the work of support staffs
  • Post data to various ledgers, registers, journals and logs following established accounting techniques and procedures
  • Recommend selection of staff; train staff in work procedures, recommend discipline as required
  • Review accounting systems and procedures
  • Provide technical support to outside auditors
  • Perform internal audits of accounts payable/receivable, payroll distribution, fixed assets, and cash with correct journal entries
  • Maintain the various ledger accounts including reconciliation
  • Review accounting documents to ensure accuracy of information and calculations
  • Monitor the financial activity on assigned programs and prepares expenditure reports for managers
  • Prepare, maintain control, and is responsible for accounting records involving a variety of transactions
  • Responsible for closing books at yearend
  • And assist Finance Controller with preparation of financial plan
