Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Manage the mutual fund scheme and handle the operations of mutual fund on regular basis
Stock screening in coordination with research department and present investment execution plan to investment committee for Mutual Fund Scheme
Continuously review Scheme reports and optimise the stocks according as per analysis and discussion with team
Dealing and trading with brokers
Maintain regular accounts for the mutual fund scheme
Calculate NAV on weekly basis and publish / report the details as required
Investment Reporting and Communication to various stake holders
Meet the compliance related to mutual fund with various relevant regulators
Deal with unit holders and relevant stakeholders for queries related to mutual fund
Set, track and achieve targets, aligned with department objectives
Supervise team members to ensure their interest aligns with the Fund’s, department’s and organization’s goal

Minimum Qualification and Experience:

ACCA / CA or Masters in Finance/Management or equivalent
At least 3 years of post-qualification, preference will be given to candidate with experience in capital market

Requirement

Thorough understanding of Nepalese capital market and its regulations, security trading and analysis
Strong knowledge of rules and regulation related to mutual fund
Able to analyse the financial statements of listed companies, the economy and industry trends
Understanding of Dual entry system (in accounts) and good know-how of NFRS and GAAP will be beneficial
Confident, dynamic, thorough, pragmatic, intuitive and guided by good values and positive attitude

Age: Not Exceeding 40 Years

Salary: Competitive as per industry standard, other facility as per the HR bylaws + Bonus as per prevailing regulations, estimated – equivalent to more than 8-9 months of gross salary on top of regular salary.
