Social Studies and Human Value Education Teacher (Primary Level)

Everest English School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Level Social Studies and Human Value Education Teacher to join our team.  The teacher will be responsible for developing lesson plans, delivering instruction, and assessing student performance in alignment with the school's curriculum and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences
• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the educational standards and objectives of the school.
• Use a variety of teaching methods and instructional resources to engage students and enhance learning.
• Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, tests, and other evaluation methods.
  
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
  
• Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to plan and implement school-wide initiatives and activities.
• Uphold and enforce school rules, policies, and procedures.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Social Science / Sociology or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching at the primary level, preferably in Social Studies.
  
• Fluency in both English & Nepali speaking and writing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
  
• Familiarity with modern educational technology and tools.
  
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
  

Note: Preference will be given to applicants proficient in spoken and written Nepali.
