Job Description

1. Sales Forecasting and Demand Planning:

  • Collaborate with the sales team in sales planning and forecasting.
  • Utilize sales data, market insights, and economic indicators to generate accurate sales and order forecasts.
  • Monitor actual sales performance against forecasts, analyze deviations, and propose corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with the principal company for the monthly order operations and communicate plant-side production updates to the team.

2. New Product Planning:

  • Perform preliminary research for the new product introduction.
  • Collaborate with the sales team for product specifications selection.
  • Disseminate timely information and documents regarding new and existing products.
  • Participate in pricing discussions and provide relevant information to facilitate decision-making.
  • Work closely with the sales team to discuss customer insights and feedback for ongoing product improvement.
  • Work as a Person-In-contact (PIC) for the principal company and collaborate with various teams to address requests on diverse topics.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align sales plans for upcoming campaigns, promotions, and product launches.
  • Coordinate with the Clearing and forwarding department to manage shipping schedules, documents, and related issues and challenges.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to process special orders every month, ensuring production deadlines are met.

4. Performance Reporting and Analysis:

  • Generate regular sales performance reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior management and team.
  • Monitor competitors, market movements, and global trends, providing timely updates to the team.
  • Present data-driven insights to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Submit a monthly rundown as well as market trend report to the principal company.
