Roles and responsibilities of this job

To deliver an outstanding in-store customer experience by assisting customers, driving sales, and maintaining a well-presented retail floor. The role is key to building customer loyalty and contributing to the store's daily revenue targets.

Reports to: Store Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Engagement : Greet and assist customers, understand their needs, recommend products, and ensure a positive shopping experience from entry to checkout.
Sales & Upselling : Actively drive sales by suggesting relevant products, promotions, and bundles; meet individual and team sales targets.
Product Knowledge : Stay up to date on product features, pricing, and availability to confidently answer customer queries and handle objections.
Merchandising & Store Presentation : Ensure shelves, displays, and product areas are clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing at all times.
Billing & Transactions : Process customer purchases accurately through the POS system; handle cash, card, and digital payments.
Inventory Support : Assist in stock replenishment, receiving deliveries, and flagging low-stock or damaged goods to the store manager.
Promotions & Campaigns : Communicate ongoing offers, discounts, and new arrivals to customers; support in-store events and promotional activities.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:School (SLC/ SEE)

Required Experience:Equal to 1 year

Other Specification

Minimum SEE (Secondary Education Examination) pass required; +2 or Bachelor's degree preferred.
No specific field of study required — attitude and willingness to learn are prioritized.
Prior experience in a retail sales or customer-facing role is an advantage but not mandatory.
Freshers with strong communication skills and a passion for sales are encouraged to apply.
