Reports To: Director of Sales and Marketing

Purpose:

Responsible for meeting a monthly and annual sales target by responding to all in- coming enquiries. Writing proposals, meeting guest /clients, converting bookings and coordinating all details relating to events. To assist in achieving budget room night goals within the leisure and corporate/leisure related markets for the hotel through the strategic implementation of effective marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive hotel revenue through proactive sales, market development, and targeted promotions across corporate, leisure, and events segments.
Handle sales inquiries efficiently, prepare proposals, negotiate rates, and close business in line with brand and profitability standards.
Develop strong client relationships, encourage repeat business, and ensure high levels of guest satisfaction
Plan, coordinate, and execute events, conferences, and familiarization trips, ensuring seamless delivery and after-sales service.
Promote hotel facilities, packages, loyalty programs, and online offerings to new and existing clients.
Identify low-demand periods and implement focused sales strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.
Collaborate with internal departments to deliver integrated guest experiences and resolve customer issues.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to support strategic decision-making.
Maintain accurate records, client portfolios, and business communications in accordance with brand standards.
Prepare timely reports, production updates, action plans, and contribute to revenue budgeting and forecasting.
Support team performance through goal reviews, meetings, and execution of assignments as directed by management.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 5 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in related field required; Master's degree preferred.
5 years of Sales & Marketing experience, with at least 2 years in 4- or 5-star hotel.

Key Attributes:

Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and managers to ensure teamwork
Able to resolve conflicts guests, supervisor and employee.
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
Basic computer skills in MS Office. systems.
Handle stressful situations and deal effectively with difficult visitors by interacting with them in a polite way.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to work unsupervised.
Excellent administrative skills.
Local Market Knowledge.
Experience managing to brand standards.
Ability to travel.
