- Managing Key sales accounts and ensuring timely sales & collections on telephone and field visits.
- Must be very very tight in payment collection and ensure that the collections are on time and within the credit limit specified by the company. (For existing dealers as well as new dealers)
- Must be able to convince dealers to work on BG, ODC, Local LC etc and able to ascertain the credibility and make new dealers on his own and also ascertain their credit limit all by himself. This dealer knowledge is a must.
- Must be willing to work on sales targets set by the company . His individual targets as well as team targets.
- Thorough knowledge of aging is a must.
- Must be able to sell the company’s products in all channels including dealer/distributor network, institutional sales, online sales, project sales, etc.
- Leadership experience in supervising and managing a professional team of salesmen all over Nepal.
- Strong effective communicator.
- Highly developed, demonstrated teamwork skills.
- Positive attitude & desire to exceed expectations
- Ability to lead in an environment of constant change.
- Structured or large company experience will not work here. We need flexible and street-smart candidates.
- Familiarity and skill with the tools of the trade in sales and marketing including PR, written communication, market research, microsoft software suite of products and tally are a plus point.
Job Requirements
The selected candidate must be able to perform effectively in each of these areas:
- Overall sales strategy and execution of plans for the existing products.
- Managing launch campaigns and exhibitions for new and existing products.
- Managing distribution channels for products.
- Ensuring effective, branded marketing communications including the company website, print communication, and advertising which will help to increase the sales.
- Managing media and sales staff and external PR agencies.
- Analysis of the effectiveness of all sales and marketing efforts.
- Suggest and recruit sales officers on his own.
Team Management
- Must have leadership qualities to manage a team and ensuring all data entries and reporting are done accurately in excel
- Motivating the sales team from time to time and training the team to do their work efficiently and responsibly.
- Must be willing to stay and grow with the company with a long-term view, not short term, we are not interested for short term hiring.
- Managing a team of 5-6 salesman comprising of SO, Sr. SO, ASM level.

- Must be respectful to his seniors and management.
- Must possess leadership skills and lead by example and must treat his subordinates and fellow colleagues with compassion and kindness.
- Must be truthful and honest.
- Must be willing to work overtime depending on the work pressure.
- Must be loyal to the company and help the company to realize its long-term vision and goals
- Down to earth and street smart. Also, rough & tough to handle adverse situations relating to collections.
Other specific requirements:
- Candidate should have a valid two-wheeler and a 4-wheeler driving license and at least must have his own two-wheeler to commute from his home to office.
- Expert and thorough knowledge of all roads in Kathmandu and also knowledge and prior outstation travelling and sales experience in central, eastern and western Nepal is a must too.
- Apart from bike, candidate must know how to drive a car and must have a valid 4-wheeler license too, He must be able to do sales & Marketing on self-driven car, all by himself, across the length and breadth of Nepal for outside valley tours. And for inside valley on self-driven bike.
- Must be hard working and self-motivated.
- Must take complete ownership of the work assigned to him and his sales team
- When the candidate is in head office and not into field visits, he must assist in the head office admin functions like HR, strategy, logistics, brand building activities, planning, accounts etc etc. We need an all rounder who can help and assist in all aspects of the company for the company’s growth and for his personal growth too, he must not be limited only to sales and marketing.
- Must submit periodic and accurate reports to the management indicating the sales performance of the company
- Must be honest in dealing with cash
- Must work on a target-based goal and must be street smart.
- Open to relocation outside Kathmandu valley if necessary
- Willing to and must be able to work in long work timings from 10-8 pm
- If hired the candidate must do only the company’s work no other full time or part time work of any other company, not even on weekends.
