Job Description

  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
  • Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
  • Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
  • Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations
  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
  • Generate Sales and Collection on a target basis
  • Building and maintaining positive working relationships with clients, medical staff, supporting administration staff e.g., receptionists.
  • Keeping detailed records of all contacts and reaching (and if possible, exceeding) annual sales targets
  • Planning work schedules and weekly and monthly timetables. This may involve working with the area sales team or discussing future targets with sales manager
  • Regularly attending company meetings, technical data presentations and briefings
  • Monitoring competitor activity and competitors' products
  • Developing strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to contacts in the medical and health care sector
  • Staying informed about the activities of health services in a particular area
  • Maintaining and providing timely necessary reports
