Job Description

Department: Sales and Marketing Department

Division/Area:  Automotive, Inverter and Motorcycle Battery Sales 

Report To:  Sales and Marketing Manager

Basic Function:  Is responsible for selling of batteries and meeting bottom line and top line targets

Major Duties:

  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships
  • Present and sell company products to current and potential clients
  • Plan and organize daily routine getting approval from supervisor i.e., dealer follow-up, confirmation of outstanding delivery dates
  • Dissemination of promotional materials.
  • Communicate product features to the client properly
  • Ensure batteries are free from any physical damages and within the specification before the delivery
  • Handle customer complaints to ensure customer satisfaction with priority
  • Adhere to company "Commitment to customer satisfaction" delivery procedures
  • Ensure sales strategies are adhered to the company policies
  • Collect and report competitors price, warranty return, promotional activities, other marketing activities of competitors
  • Ensure efficient warranty management complying with company warranty policy
  • Attend and participate in trade shows, etc
  • Consistently strive to maximize customer satisfaction
  • Collection of receivables
  • Other duties as assigned

Authority:  Is given the authority to execution and implementation of sales and marketing activities as per company guidelines

Working relationship:

  • Internal (Marketing Manager): Guidance and support administrative Officer: Coordination and Team Work
  • External: Institution, Distribution Channel Members, Transport Agencies, Marketing agencies and suppliers and private companies
