About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Associate to join our dynamic team in the field of Data and AI products and services. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about technology, eager to drive sales, and capable of building strong client relationships. You will play a key role in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth for our cutting-edge data, AI, and cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Prospect and Lead Generation:

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through various channels (networking, cold calling, emails, events, etc.).
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients within targeted industries.

Client Engagement and Relationship Management:

  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with clients and partners.
  • Present and demonstrate data and AI products and services tailored to client needs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their challenges and recommending tailored solutions.

Sales and Revenue Growth:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and RFP/RFI responses.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Market Research and Intelligence:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer pain points, and competitive insights.
  • Stay updated on industry developments related to data, AI, cloud, and digital transformation.

Collaboration and Learning:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, technical) to align sales efforts with the company’s vision and offerings.
  • Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn about the technical aspects of data and AI services to communicate effectively with clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree (BBA/MBA or equivalent preferred).
  • 1+ years of experience in business development or sales (preferably in IT, technology, or software services).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Intermediate to Advanced level).
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain client relationships.
  • Basic understanding of IT services, data, and AI products (technical training will be provided).
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), and sales automation platforms.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in sales for data, AI, or cloud-based solutions.
  • Ability to conduct client presentations and handle objections with confidence.
  • Familiarity with market trends related to digital transformation, analytics, and machine learning.
