Roving Information Technology Coordinator – 1 position

The position holder will be responsible for providing effective IT services, management & administration of secured IT infrastructure and corporate system in the Area Offices. 

Terms & Location: 12 months fixed term employment with possibility of extension based in Sindhupalchok Area Office but has to look over Dolakha Area Office also.

Required Qualifications & Experiences:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or relevant field 
  • At least three (3) years relevant work experience in ICT administration and management out of which at least 2 years should be in the relevant field
  • Experience in coordination, liaison and networking managing teams, finance & other critical management domains
  • INGO work experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills including fluency in spoken and written English

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee/support maintenance, management, implementation and development of information systems, printing services, anti-virus, backup & recovery, security server, file servers & databases
  • Provide relevant customized reports from corporate application for project / programme planning, monitoring and evaluation as necessary
  • Undertake regular maintenance, upgrade, security & support to avoid hardware and software failure
  • Ensure secure access to the network for remote users and blocking unauthorized external users
  • Provide technical guidance to ICT4D projects / programmes
  • Support ICT proficiency through transfer of skills to Plan staff and communities.
  • Ensure proper and timely installation of corporate and business software application
  • Orient & support Plan staff /partners on using Plan Corporate software/Plan Academy
