Job Description

Primary Purpose

  • The core function of the Reservation Officer is to handle all aspects of reservation of guests and travel agents

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Tourism or Hospitality field 
  • 3 years of work experience as a Reservation officer or in Customer Relation in the hospitality industry
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Computer literate and good verbal and written English
  • Pleasant phone voice
  • Exceptional communication skills 
  • Good organizational & time management skills

Expectations

  • Handle all  enquiries and calls 
  • Feed all the reservation in IDS and Excel
  • Reservation details to be sent to the Resort every alternate day
  • Generate reservation report every week
  • Dealing with customer complaints and conflicts and help resolve
  • Help guests find the right accommodations to fit their needs, suggesting different packages
  • Preparing expected arrival list/details for the front office use at the resort
  • Must be aware of all company policies, rates, events and promotions 
  • Offer additional products and services when appropriate
  • Making appointments for director of sales and marketing
  • Track future rooms available on the basis of reservations
