  • Master’s degree in International Relations / Political Science / Public Policy.

  • Excellent command in both written and oral English and commendable competence in presentation in Nepali language.

Job Description

  • Prepare the research proposals, initiation of research study design, study protocol, the operating procedures and ensure smooth day to day operation of the research.
  •  Format reports and notes in as per the provided guidelines and organizational formats.
  • Conduct literature review, design the data collection methods and collect data
  • Lead and coordinate the research team in literature review, designing the data collection tools and methods and lead the team in data collection.
  • Identify and approach the potential informants and conduct interviews, coordinate/lead focus group discussions with the stakeholders if required.
  • Develop the framework for analysis and coordinate the data management in appropriate format.
  • Facilitate the selection of the field visit sites and execution of research activities in the field as required.
  • Lead the data analysis and preparation of the detailed research report.
  • Prepare timely commentaries, policy papers and issue briefs.
  • Edit and proofread documents tailored to specific stakeholders
  • Other activities as instructed or required in the course of implementation of research project.
