Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for a dynamic and personable Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our students, faculty, and visitors. Our institution is dedicated to providing quality education in the field of art and fashion, and we are looking for a Receptionist who can contribute to our mission.

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome students, visitors, and staff in a professional and friendly manner
Answer and route incoming phone calls and emails to appropriate departments
Maintain an organized, clean, and presentable reception area
Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and events
Assist with administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and maintaining records
Provide accurate information and support to students and visitors regarding the college's offerings
Coordinate with various departments to support smooth daily operations
Maintain a visitor logbook and issue visitor passes when required
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, courier, and deliveries efficiently
Support admission and academic departments with documentation and student inquiries during peak periods
Maintain confidentiality of institutional and student information at all times
Assist in preparing notices, circulars, and front-desk communications
Report any maintenance or facility issues to the concerned department promptly
Provide backup administrative support during staff absences or busy periods

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

1–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the education sector (Freshers with excellent communication skills may apply)
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Basic IT proficiency (e.g., MS Office, email communication, data entry)
Pleasant personality with a professional and approachable demeanor
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
Team player with a proactive and positive attitude
