Job Description

The RAN Technical Support Engineer plays a pivotal role in the strategic network planning, implementation, seamless integration, and efficient operation of cellular networks. Collaborating with various teams, the engineer addresses escalated issues from network operators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute comprehensive operation and maintenance tasks for ZTE BSC and RNC, ZTE BTS, and NodeB.
  • Identify and resolve hardware and software technical issues, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Provide BSC and RNC level support for GSM/UMTS/LTE networks.
  • Coordinate and perform activities such as the integration of new BSC/RNC/BTS and network capacity expansion.
  • Configure Radio wireless parameters, including Radio parameters, Handover, and Power control parameters.
  • Initiate and actively participate in technical discussions, fault management, and outage restoration.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors for commissioning troubleshooting of SDR sites.
  • Generate technical Impact Analysis reports.
  • Conduct software updates/upgrades and test new features.
  • Facilitate BSC/RNC/BTS migration.
  • Monitor network performance, alarm and analyze performance data, and provide effective solutions.
  • Regularly manage BSC/RNC capacity expansion.
