Job Description:
- Work closely with the Project Manager to manage expectations and enable the teams to meet agreed upon goals and team initiatives
- Work closely with development team, project managers and product managers to diagnose quality issues, identify potential software limitations, resolve defects and verify corrective actions
- Understand business requirements, scope documents, and detailed functional requirements to analyse proposed features and product changes; determine and provide QA testing effort estimates
- Prepares activity, progress and status reports regarding software QA activities for review
- Prepare detailed reports on issues identified in QA testing, including steps to reproduce defects, which are provided to development
- Update job knowledge by studying trends in and developments in quality management
