We are looking for Software Quality Assurance ( QA ) to work on our product named Spreadsheet Converter.

Product

It is an add-on for Microsoft Excel which converts spreadsheet to variety of web applications and apps.

The product has been in the market since 2000 and has worldwide 15,000 customers.

We are a small team of 7 developers, support staff and marketers all included. So, it like a small family in itself. Being small helps us to get things done faster.

It is a full time job and it offers testing opportunity within Microsoft Excel, web applications and mobile apps. It also offers direct correspondance to the developers, the product owner and its global customers. The product owner is a swedish software project manager and has experience of over 35 years. There will be plenty of learning opportunity as well as career advancement opportunity.

We do automated testing via TeamCity and interested in more automation. So, if you have automated testing skills, that will be an advantage.

Commitment

This is a long-term project hence we are looking for someone who can commit to the employement for at least 2 years.

If you are looking to work on short-term projects, this job is not suitable for you.

Location

Our office is located in Lazimpat, Kathmandu. It is near by Gangjong Hotel. Preference will be given to those who live nearby or have no problem to commute here. Please note we do not provide pick-up and drop service hence you need to make sure yourself that daily commute to work is not hectic for you. You know the traffic in Kathmandu!

Job Description

To develop test cases as per the feature requirements and organize them in JIRA and Google Drive.
To run test cases to test Excel Add-in, output web, mobile and server applications and report test results to developers.
To ensure functional, usability and overall quality of the software releases by carrying out manual testing in various environments and monitoring automated tests in TeamCity.
To verify the customer issues, troubleshoot them and send email reply with solution.
To write the draft of feature documentation, including the video tutorial and if required, publish them in WordPress.
To participate in meetings and constantly engage in requirement analysis through TeleConference and email.
