Role Overview

  • The organization is seeking qualified candidates for Karnali Province office, based in Surkhet .
  • Duration of the employment- 11.5 months starting from 15 January 2023.
  • Develop the plan and provide psychosocial counseling to beneficiaries and groups and ensure proper documentation of the intervention.
  • Coordinate with Project Manager, District Board Members, District Staff Members and WHR Team to implement the project activities effectively and efficiently.
  • Support to plan monthly, quarterly, and annual plan of the project.
  • Work in close coordination and collaboration with respective board members ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Establish and maintain strong connection and collaboration with local governmental stakeholders to achieve project as well as organizational objectives.
  • Ensure timely submission of monthly report to Project Manager.
  • Prepare systematic records of the beneficiaries and ensure their privacy.
  • Monitoring visit in the project areas under their respective Province.
  • Overall responsible for project area to support and lead the psychosocial counselling aspect of the project.

Required qualification:

  • Completed Bachelor’s degree with one year of counselling training
  • At least 2 years of working experience on providing psychosocial therapy
  • Empathetic, energetic with receptive learning attitude
  • Sensitive to cross-cutting issues of survivor’s mental health
