Job Description:
Javra Software is seeking Project Manager ready to make a long term commitment to an excellent career in Nepal. You will workas part of our world class outsourcing teamdeveloping desktop and web software applications for international customers with the Progress OpenEdge platformand Javra’s own tool X/E files.

This role is concerned with winning new business; exploring new avenues of activity and seeking business opportunities while managing customer relations and satisfaction. This position is vital in planning and implementing strong team and project management practices as well as managing and winning profitable business deals.

Role and Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Develop and maintain client relationship with the objective of repeat profitable business.
• Identify business opportunities and negotiate profitable commercial deals.
• Verify estimates and specifications and draw commercial proposals.
• Strategic project planning and review of each project daily while ensuring quality delivery of projects to obtain customer satisfaction.
• Manage project costs and deadlines to ensure project succession on schedule and within prescribed budget.
• Maintain appropriate information flow among key stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of project from start to finish.
• Plan and secure necessary human resources, support and information to ensure proper project execution and completion.
• Identify changes in scope of project and secure appropriate change orders are executed while ensuring clear commercial agreement with client.
• Develop policies and procedure to identify risk and apply method to mitigate such risk.
• Participate in project testing and release activities.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree ina related field.

You have the following experience and profile:

• Proven project management methodologies (e.g. Scrum, PMP, PRINCE2).
• Project management software tools (e.g. Microsoft Project).
• Writing technical and commercial documentation
• Software testing and quality assurance

You are:

• Fluent in spoken and written English, Dutch would be a big plus.
• Able to multitask and focus on deadlines under pressure.
• Familiar with Programming fundamental
• Ability to manage team, resolve disputes and foresee potential cost or schedule issues.
• Strong negotiation skill
