Job Overview:

The Project Manager will act as a crucial bridge between our clients and software engineering teams. This role involves project planning, coordination, and ensuring timely delivery of projects. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a software engineer, enabling them to grasp client requirements and understand the technical aspects needed to achieve functionality. This background will be essential in aligning the development team effectively and ensuring that all projects are delivered to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and effective communication regarding project status, expectations, and deliverables.
• Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, to ensure all projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Team Coordination: Leverage your software engineering background to work closely with software engineers, ensuring they have a clear understanding of project requirements and technical specifications. Facilitate regular team meetings to track progress and resolve any issues.
• Technical Insight: Use your technical expertise to evaluate client requirements, suggest optimal solutions, and guide the development team on the best practices to achieve project goals.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet FATDOG’s high standards of quality and align with client expectations.
• Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management and clients on project status, including progress reports, risk assessments, and project metrics.
• Multi-Client Management: Efficiently manage multiple client projects simultaneously, ensuring each client receives the highest level of service and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in an IT or software development environment, with a prior background as a software engineer.
• Strong technical background, with the ability to understand and translate client requirements into technical specifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (Such as JIRA).
• Solid understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
