Job Description

Manage projects independently with minimal assistance or lead sub-projects with guidance from a more experienced Project Manager. Projects must meet identified business needs, acquiring and utilizing the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of timescales, and quality.

Responsibilities

Takes responsibility for the successful delivery of the project.
Facilitates agreement on project objectives and delivery schedules with stakeholders.
Effectively estimates timescales and resource requirements of the project.
Identifies and organizes the required resources for the project.
Tracks progress of the project against the agreed plan, costs, timescales and resources.
Proactively takes the initiative to identify and resolve issues with reference to the project plan, timescales and resources before they impact the progress of the project.
Provides regular and accurate reports to the stakeholder community.
Identifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of the project, including the provision and use of contingency for those risks which are to be managed.
Manage the change control procedure.
Take a structured and effective approach to own work.

Skills and Knowledge

Ability to identify issues, propose solutions to the management and lead the effort in resolving the issues.
Good knowledge in OAM/PM, ICE, MS Project, Ops Dashboards is preferred
Ability to analyze, diagnose, design, plan, execute and evaluate work to time, and quality targets.
Exhibit basic familiarity with available methods, procedures, standards, tools, and equipment associated with own area of specialization and make correct choices from alternatives.
Ability to negotiate in reference to time management and deliverables.
Good verbal and written skill.
Manage cross teams and bring transparency to keep teams at same page.

Experience

Engaged as a productive member of a project team.
Demonstrated an understanding of Project Management concepts.
Identified the scope and deliverables of a project.
Identified and managed risks and opportunities within a project.
