Roles and responsibilities of this job
- Accomplish project requirements by orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, and coaching volunteers/facilitators/trainers/beneficiaries for project activities
- Responsible for the preparation of all assigned proposals
- Responsible for the preparation and submission of reports to the funding agencies
- Responsible for the procurement of goods related to the project
- Meet work standards by identifying work process improvements for the project working for livelihood development of girls
- Meet cost standards by monitoring expenses; implementing cost-saving actions during the project and its activities
- Prepare Budget and Manage Funds for proper Financial Management of the project
- Plan, manage and coordinate need assessment visits, training programs, and project activities, in different communities
- Manage and lead the team of vocational trainers, project staffs and beneficiaries receiving the training for a year
- Facilitate promotion, growth and development strategies of the project
- Preparing, planning and managing the publication of all publicity material to maximize project promotion

- Experience in a project management/development role
- Knowledge of principles and practices related to livelihood development and informal educational issues
- Must have strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

- Experienced in developing and managing budgets, proposals, hiring, and training, supervising and assessing personnel

About the organization
Established in 2006, SAATH is a non-governmental organization that works with women and girls from the most marginalized and vulnerable
communities in Nepal. Our approach is to engage our population of work in their socioeconomic transformation and holistic development.
On June 25, 2004, eleven youth with educational backgrounds in Social
Work initiated SAATH Event to support women living with HIV and AIDS. The success of the event motivated the youth to take more action for positive change. SAATH was officially established in 2006 and voluntarily worked through youth-led programs in several social issues, including HIV and AIDS, Drug Use, LGBTI and marginalized communities. Since August 2012 it started working actively as a full-fledged organization.
SAATH, with its strategic approach, initiated its projects based on capacity building and livelihood of young girls and children who belong to marginalized communities. In addition, its approach of working also
includes issue based training, creating awareness and advocacy through
different projects and activities primarily through leadership and
participation of youth. The right effort, the commitment and leadership of these youth have made SAATH always alive and vigorous on its path.
