Job Description

 Areas of Responsibility

  • Be responsible for programme planning preparation, implementation, monitoring of all health programme of the cluster and periodic reporting to the line managers/technical advisor and as necessary
  • Responsible for overall management of health portfolio and ensure quality health programme implementation and outcomes at cluster level.
  • Sensitively develop and build close relationship and collaboration with district line agencies including DACC, DHO, WDO, government and community hospitals, I/NGOs, communities, civil society, Churches and Media.
  • Participate in preparation and implementation of the cluster plan to integrate general health & HIV and AIDS activities with other technical areas.
  • Develop and/or collect training packages and IEC material in the coordination with cluster team, technical advisors, technical Team leader especially HIV and AIDS, community health, Sexual reproductive health, Child and maternal health.
  • Meaningful participation and providing technical support to DACC, RHCC, DHMC, networks / forums and to support them for develop long term plan.
  • Plan, deliver and monitor capacity enhancement trainings for POs staff and communities groups.
  • Document good practices, learning and experiences during the implementation programme of health area at the cluster to ensure sharing within and out side UMN. Provide support POs for necessary documentation process and sharing them to other stakeholders.
  • Manage Christian Family Life Education programme for its smooth implementation and outcomes.
  • Meaningful participation and facilitation for team building, team effort and events within the clusters and health team.
  • Support POs in developing programme /funding proposals and support in linking them with resource providing organisations
  • Be responsible for reporting, planning, monitoring, implementation and evaluation of the projects.
  • Support POs for their organisational capacity development in coordination with ODO

Location Allowance Range: Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 14,000 per month
