Position: Program Supervisor
Job Type: Full Time
Job Level: Mid-Level
Duty Station: Nakhu, Lalitpur
Joining Date: February 1, 2023 and 3 months’ probation period.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Undertake the responsibility of managing the shelters and youth settlement program.
  • Regular visits and supervision of the children's program and youth settlement program.
  • School and College visits.
  • Conduct meetings as required.
  • Preparing and keeping records of meeting minutes, documents, reports, request forms etc. of children program and youth settlement program.
  • Review and edit reports and documents.
  • Organize and coordinate for programs, trainings, workshops etc.
  • Responsible for correspondence and communication with the donor, president and steering committee.
  • Regularly updating the online data entry and monthly activities on the website.
  • Coordinate with the coordinator to develop action plans (monthly, quarterly and yearly)
  • Conduct assessment and develop new formats when required in consultation with the coordinator.
  • Should be able to work beyond the duty hours and be flexible to help the organization in any other work required in case of emergency.

Required Qualification:

  • Having a good understanding and knowledge of child rights. Candidates experienced and interested in working with the children will be given priority.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the social sector.
  • Bachelor / Master’s Degree in Sociology / Rural Development / Social Work / Development Studies / Social Sciences or other relevant stream applicable to position.
  • Must have good verbal, written and presentation skills in both Nepali and English.
  • Skilled in report writing, communication and coordination.
  • Must be able to work independently, as a team player and meet deadlines.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must have good knowledge on MS word, Excel, Power-Point, email and internet.
