Women’s Rehabilitation Centre (WOREC) is a national level NGO working for women's human rights and to ensure women empowerment with feminist value through protection and promotion of human rights and social justice focusing on campaigns- against violence against women, and women's economic, social and cultural rights nation-wide. We currently work in 19 districts with district offices in Morang, Sunsari, Udayapur, Siraha, Dhanusha, Dang, Kailali, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Rukum, Kapilvastu, Rupandehi and, Surkhet with Central Office in Lalitpur. Job Description

Program Support

  • Perform tasks necessary to keep project running smoothly, such as record keeping, resource allocation, work plan scheduling and ensuring compliance with donor requirements
  • Support the overall management of the running projects
  • Coordinate and monitor  frequently with the district coordinators for updates regarding the work in progress
  • Responsible for program support administrative task
  • Ensure the management committee meeting's decisions are communicated, executed and    followed up adequately
  • Supervise the project team members and ensuring that donor's guidelines are met
  • Initiate the project or contract and work until the project is completed
  • Organize the necessary team members and specialize in facilitating, reporting and analyzing projects under the supervision of a project coordinators
  • Constant monitoring and control of all project variables.
  • Ensure that the project is finished on time and within the  budget

Finance Support

  • Plan the financial budget necessary for the project
  • Ensure that every documents required to be processed in  Finance are in proper place and in order
  • Budget tracking of the existing projects
  • Verify the documents related to program activity before proceeding to finance
  • Ensure that the rate specified for the use of office resources has been adequately charged to the projects and proper document has been ascertained.
  • Monthly reporting to program and finance about budget variances

Overall Support

  • Ensure that knowledge unit committee, capacity building committee and other sub-committee's regular meetings are held adequately and decisions made are communicated to concerned department and follow up regularly
  • Lead M&E Committee and carry out necessary M&E activities of all WOREC programs
  • Supervise  HR Department, Store Office and Office Administrator
  • Responsible for all the logistics support for the Central Office and districts
  • Work as per the HR and Admin/Finance guidelines
  • Monitor store documents and be responsible for the same
  • Ensure the collection of quotations from the vendors and preparation of comparative chart of all procurements as per the policy before any payments are made.
