Collective Campaign for Peace (COCAP) is recruiting 3 Program Officers – Media Monitoring and Analysis for its new Peace Monitoring in Nepal- Pilot. The pilot, supported by The Asia Foundation, aims to expand COCAP’s existing protection and conflict prevention initiative, NepalMonior.org into a Peace Monitoring Platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Data-entry of incident reports taken from national media and district-level newspapers, preparing short summaries of incidents in English and Nepali, mapping and coding of incident reports and conducting follow-up to verify reports by phone.
Your profile
Duration: Initially for 3-months-pilot starting in August 2016. Contract will be extended to 2 years, subject to funding availability for full project.
Salary: 31,128 NRs per month with additional yearly increments and bonuses.
