SAC Nepal is implementing digital and steam education in Thuli Bheri and Tripursundari municipalities; Dolpo Buddha, She Phoksundo, Kaike and Chharka Tongsang rural municipalities of of Dolpa District with inline the impact to within the role of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) as actors or governance for SDG 4 to in the education sector continue to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all in the context of recovery of the COVID-19 crisis. Duty Station: Project Office, Dolpa, (With frequently field visit in project area) 

Key Responsibilities: This position will be overall responsible for management of planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of project activities in Dolpa district. The position holder will work in close coordination, collaboration, cooperation and partnership with District Coordination Committee (DCC-Dolpa), Education Development and Coordination Unit (EDCU-Dolpa), Municipalities, Education section of Municipalities, Schools, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), Education Development Directorate, HR development Centre, MOSD and other key likeminded agencies for effective and timely planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of planned activities. S/he will also support in government education system strengthening on different priorities area of federal, province and local government policy, plan and programs. In addition, s/he will work as a budget holder of the program and   manage logistics, finance and human resources under the program in respective district. S/he will close coordination within organization's as well as other different organizations. S/he will manage the program staffs in the district for program implementation.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor degree in Education and any discipline with having 3 year experience or Master degree in education or any discipline with having at least 1 year experience in program management or implementation education activities. Essential skills include Sound knowledge on steam and digital education, Knowledge and skill on program management; budget holder, report, proposal and case studies writing skill; presentation, facilitation and negotiation; Very good skills and knowledge in documentation and reporting in English and Nepali; excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, data analysis and HR management. Other desirable skills include stress management; time management and communication skills; learning attitude, motivated, result oriented, excellent coordination, self motivated, innovative, interest to work in geographically remote area, communication and interpersonal skills (team building and team work) with key stakeholders at program and district level.
