Job Description

The Program Coordinator for the Bachelor of Psychology program is responsible for the academic and administrative coordination of the program. This role ensures effective delivery of courses, smooth communication among faculty, students, and administration, and continuous improvement of the program in alignment with institutional goals and accreditation standards.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Coordination:

  • Coordinate course scheduling, faculty assignments, and timetables each semester.
  • Assist in curriculum planning, review, and implementation in line with academic standards.
  • Support faculty in course material preparation, assessment planning, and moderation.
  • Ensure alignment of teaching outcomes with the program’s learning objectives.
  • Facilitate academic audits and accreditation documentation.
  • Conduction of field studies & practical sessions.
  • Support students internship & project work.

Student Support and Engagement:

  • Serve as the primary academic advisor for students enrolled in the Bachelor of Psychology program.
  • Coordinate orientation, mentoring, and career guidance activities.
  • Address student concerns, grievances, and feedback in collaboration with faculty.
  • Monitor student performance and retention, preparing regular progress reports.

Administrative Duties:

  • Manage program-related documentation, attendance, internal grading submissions, and records.
  • Coordinate with examination, results, and graduation processing.
  • Prepare reports, data summaries, and proposals as required by management.
  • Ensure smooth communication between the department, faculty, and college administration.

Quality Assurance and Development:

  • Monitor and maintain academic quality and compliance with accreditation requirements.
  • Organize departmental meetings, faculty development workshops, and guest lectures.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from students and faculty to improve program delivery.
  • Liaise with external partners, internship supervisors, and research institutions.
