The Education Counselor at Mate’s Education provides expert guidance to students seeking local and international study opportunities. This role involves counseling, documentation support, and follow-up throughout the admissions and visa process. The counselor is responsible for helping students make informed decisions while contributing to the company’s enrollment goals.

Key Responsibilities

Provide counseling and guidance to students regarding educational and career choices.
Assist students in identifying their strengths, interests, and goals.
Offer support and advice on academic planning, course selection, and program requirements.
Conduct individual and group counseling sessions.
Help students with college and university applications, including writing personal statements and preparing for interviews.
Collaborate with educators and parents to address students' academic and personal needs.
Stay updated on educational trends, admission requirements, and career opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor's or equivalent degree.
1–3 years of counseling or study-abroad experience.
Proficiency in MS Office and good understanding of international education systems.
Strong communication, presentation, and sales-conversion skills.
Ability to work empathetically with diverse student populations.
Familiarity with assessment tools and career exploration resources.
Experience in academic advising or counseling roles preferred.
Understanding of confidentiality and ethical guidelines in counseling practice.
