Sano Paila is seeking the EOI of Program Coordinator position for its program “Sunischit Bhawishya- Securing the  Better  Future”  supported  by  Beyond  the  Orphanage  Foundation,  Australia.  The 
project  aims  to  support, enable and empower at-risk orphaned children to become self-reliant adults
with an objective  to “engage in long-term care, support, and formal and informal education, providing
alternative family-based care where they will receive the attention and care that they need to develop  to  their  full  potential.

Position Description:  

Title:  Program Coordinator (Preferably Female) 
Work Location:  Birgunj, Madhesh Province 
Grade & Salary Range:  Officer Level (Senior), C3 Max 
Reports to:  Head of Programs & Services /CEO
Summary:  Full-time involving in children’s personal, behavioral & mental growth by establishing interpersonal relationships with children and providing psychosocial counseling, and supervising the direct care providers. Similarly, implementation of Child Protection Policy in every course of action; preparing project quarterly and annual, technical and financial reports; play effective role in development

Education, Experiences & Skills 

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or similar fields  
  • 2 years of work experience in the related field; however fresher is also encouraged  
  • Project Management Skill, adaptability skill, capacity to create effective relationship with
  • the  community and local stakeholders  
  • Leadership and managerial skills for residential child care 
  • Proper knowledge and experience on child care & protection and psycho-social counseling  
  • Supply management and inventory control  
  • Passionate about activism and advocacy for social issues 
  • Report making/MS Office skills (MS Word and Excel in particular)
